SR Automotive ePTFE vents is a self-adhesive ePTFE waterproof&breathable membrane,SR Automotive ePTFE vents equalize pressure and reduce condensation by allowing air to flow freely into and out of sealed enclosures. At the same time, they provided a durable barrier to protect the Automotive from contaminants. The result-improved reliability, increase safety and longer product life for your sealed.
Outdoor enclosures are continuously exposed to harsh environments such as rainstorms,dust,sand and high winds. During changing environmental conditions,pressure can build inside a sealed enclosure,putting stress on seals. Over time stress causes seals to fail,which allows water,corrosive liquids,salt and particulates to enter the enclosure and damage the internal electronics.

This ePTFE membrane has poor roll-off properties, enabling liquid to clog the membrane and reduce airflow.
The SR ePTFE membrane has excellent roll-off properties. Liquid easily drains off the membrane, allowing continuous airflow.
